Can beginners surf in Bali?

While Bali has world class waves, it’s important to know that it can be dangerous when you surf in Bali if you’re new to it. This can be because of a few reasons from the types of surf spots/ surf breaks such as reef break, sand break, or low tide/ high tide, & the size of each waves if they are closing out(something you want to avoid). When surfing in Bali, surf spots such as soft reef break can be dangerous as the shallow reef(sharp reef) may get you cut all over the feet or body, & an experienced surf instructor can help you avoid these accidents. Reef breaks produces more consistent waves as compared to beach breaks for beginners to learn when with a surf coach.
